Study aid only. Every course here is an independent exam-preparation tool, provided for educational purposes only. It is not professional advice, and using it does not guarantee any examination result or outcome.

No affiliation. DataPig LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). PTCB, PTCE, ExCPT, CPhT, and MPJE are marks of their respective owners. Per-course disclosures:

Pharmacy Technician Cert Prep: Built to the PTCB content outline (At-a-Glance: CPhT Exam) with standard pharmacy-technician references (USAN/USP generic names and FDA labeling for the top-dispensed drugs, ISMP medication-safety guidance, DEA controlled-substance schedules I-V, federal pharmacy law, and standard pharmacy calculations). The PTCE is 90 questions (80 scored + 10 unscored pretest), 1 hour 50 minutes, computer-based at Pearson VUE, scored by IRT on a scaled 1000-1600 with a 1400 pass. Weighted toward Medications 35%, Patient Safety & Quality Assurance 23.75%, Order Entry & Processing 22.5%, and Federal Requirements 18.75%. The exam specifications and fees, the most-dispensed top-200 list edition, and competitor details can change - confirm the current ptcb.org materials before testing. ExCPT Pharmacy Tech Prep: Built to the NHA ExCPT Test Plan (the published per-domain item counts) and standard pharmacy-technician practice references - DEA 21 CFR (controlled-substance schedules, refills, transfers, forms), FDA/FDCA, OBRA '90, HIPAA, the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, DSCSA, and USP <795>/<797>/<800> compounding standards. The ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians) is 120 multiple-choice items = 100 scored + 20 unscored pretest (treat all 120 as live), 2 hours 10 minutes, scored on a scaled score of 200-500 with a passing scaled score of 390 (roughly 80 of 100 scored correct - an approximation, not a fixed percentage). Passing earns the CPhT credential; most state boards and employers accept either the ExCPT or the PTCB/PTCE. The in-force Test Plan edition and item counts, the scaled-390 standard, the state Schedule II fill window, and competitor prices can change - verify the current NHA ExCPT Test Plan before your exam. MPJE Pharmacy Law Prep: Built to PUBLIC-DOMAIN federal pharmacy law - the Controlled Substances Act and DEA regulations (21 CFR Parts 1300-1317), the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act (misbranding/adulteration, the Rx legend, 503A/503B compounding), the PPPA child-resistant-packaging rules (16 CFR 1700), CMEA pseudoephedrine limits, OBRA-90 counseling and DUR, HIPAA, USP <795>/<797>/<800>, Hatch-Waxman/BPCIA, and the DSCSA - all U.S.-government public-domain law. This is the STATE-VARIABLE MPJE built as the stable FEDERAL CORE: each jurisdiction blends this federal law with its own pharmacy law, scores never transfer between states, and the heaviest exam margin (technician ratios, offer-vs-require counseling, state-added schedules, Rx/CII expiration windows, PDMP and emergency-fill rules) lives in the per-state layer, which is built per instance and is never fabricated here - apply the most stringent of federal vs your state law. The MPJE is 120 questions (100 scored + 20 pretest), 2.5 hours, computer-adaptive; you must answer at least 107 or the attempt does not score, and passing is a scaled 75 (not a raw 75%). The Uniform MPJE (UMPJE), rolling out to adopting states in 2026, uses a uniform 30/30/20/20 outline. Your jurisdiction's MPJE-vs-UMPJE status, the state layer, the fee (~$270), the 30-day retake and attempt caps, and the NABP competency-statement edition can change - verify the current NABP and your state board materials before testing. All practice items are original study material; no proctored exam content is reproduced. You may use the site for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.

Payments & refunds. Each course is a separate one-time purchase, not a subscription — you are billed once per course and never auto-renewed. Purchasing one course grants access to that course only. If you are not satisfied, you get a full refund within 24 hours of purchase — processed automatically. Request it in-app (Help → Request a refund) or email support@passpharmacytech.com. When a refund is issued, paid access to that course ends. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Provided “as is.” The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataPig LLC disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes. DataPig LLC may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
